Management

Gene Albert Gene is a lawyer and entrepreneur with several successful businesses to his credit. He currently is a founder and principal of Lexbe LC, a web-based litigation and document management application.   Gene was a principal and Senior VP of Spectra Laboratories, Inc., a nationwide dialysis laboratory that he helped grow and eventually sell to a large integrated health company.  While at Spectra, he headed its sales, marketing and customer service departments. He has been an advisory board member of the Texas Entrepreneur’s Exchange in Austin, TX.  As a lawyer, he has practiced in the areas of corporate, finance and commercial law, and has an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has an MBA and a BA from the University of Texas and a JD from Southern Methodist University.   A recent paper is E-Discovery: How to Do it Wrong (and Right!), Avoiding Sanctions through Competent Management of the e-Discovery Process, presented at the 22nd Annual Technology Conference, University of Texas School of Law CLE, Four Seasons Hotel, Austin, TX, May 22, 2009.
Karsten Weber Karsten has an extensive background in project management and is a Certified Project Management Professional. He has experience with both startup companies and large corporations and is a consultant in the areas of litigation support, finance, strategy and marketing. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a Master of Science in Engineering from the Danish Technical University.
