We have three plans, a Single Case Plan designed for one or more individual cases, a Law Firm Plan, designed for law firms with a large number of cases, and a Solo Attorney Plan, designed for attorneys who practice alone. Single Case Plan
Our single case plan starts at $79 per case per month.  This plan includes full use of Lexbe Online and 100 MB storage space for documents, or approximately 2,500-10,000 pages, depending on page density factors.  If your case needs more than the included 100 MB, additional document storage is available. The Single Case Plan allows you as many users as you wish associated with the case. There are no hidden charges.

 

Law Firm Plan
Lexbe's Law Firm Plan is designed for law firms that handle a large number of cases.  At volume commitment levels, the price per case falls to $22 per month. 

Each case has reserved space of 100 MB, which represents approximately 2,500-10,000 pages, depending on a number of page density factors.  If one or more cases need more than the included 100 MB, additional document storage is available.  Cases and discounts for greater numbers of cases are available.  Contact us at  for more information.

 

Solo Attorney Plan
Lexbe's Solo Attorney Plan is designed for a lawyer who handle a large number of cases in a solo or otherwise discrete practice that does not require sharing with other attorneys.  At volume commitment levels, the price per case falls to $6 per month. 

 

Each case has reserved space of 100 MB, which represents approximately 2,500-10,000 pages, depending on a number of page density factors.  If one or more cases need more than the included 100 MB, additional document storage is available.     Cases and discounts for greater numbers of cases are available.  Contact us at  for more information.  The Solo Attorney Plan is limited to one user account.

 

Additional Document Storage
If more than the provided is needed for a case under the Single Case Plan, or Law Firm Plan, or Solo Attorney Plan, additional document storage is available at prices starting at $50 per month.  

 

 

How Many Pages in a Megabyte/Gigabyte?
The number of pages in a MB can vary substantially based on a series of factors, including whether the document is scanned, in native file format, or converted.  Scanned documents generally are larger than documents in native file format or converted into PDF or TIFF.  A scanned page may be as large as 1 MB, or as small as 1/40th of a MB.  Factors affecting file size include scan resolution, text density on a page, and whether scanned as color, grayscale or black & white.   The smallest file would be scanned at a low resolution (e.g. 150dpi), in black & white, and would not include dense or small font text. 

Files in their native file format are generally smaller than scanned versions.  Document density among native files can vary tremendously.  PowerPoint files may be as large as 1/15 MB per page or more, while email files may be 1/100th of a MB or smaller. Text files are often the smallest, sometimes being 1/700th of a MB or smaller per page.

For our page estimates here we have used a range from 25 to 100 pages per megabyte, which will cover most document sets. 

 

No Hidden Charges
Charges for Lexbe Online usage are based solely on the number of cases and MB of storage, as described here. There are no 'hidden charges' for software licenses, set-up fees, user fees, laptop fees, etc.  Under the Individual Case Plans and Law Firm Plans, there are no limits on users, and everyone on your litigation team can all benefit from case access, without additional charges.  (The Solo Attorney Plan is limited to two user accounts).  

 

Per Case Breakout for Pass-Through Billing
The increases in attorney efficiency and effectiveness that Lexbe Online allows justifies pass-through billing to clients.  In this way Lexbe Online can pay for itself! To support pass-through billing, we break out our bill by case to make client specific cost tracking and assignment easy.
